Moorehead Display Honors North Dakota Soldiers

It s a sight to see in Moorhead Minnesota Officials at Minnesota State University-Moorhead put up more than 14-thousand U-S flags on Nemzek Field on campus It s to honor all the soldiers from Minnesota and North Dakota who have been killed in combat since the Spanish-American War Volunteers from the university and Fargo-based Ulteig Engineers helped put up the flags in preparation for the university s annual Fourth of July celebration The flags were donated by the Wal-Mart in Detroit Lakes-Minnesota The flag display will be open through July Fifth
