With hundreds of area soldiers recently deployed one community group is looking for ways to lend a hand back home The Minot area Soldiers Angels organization is holding their first ever Red Friday Party this evening The group is hoping to raise money to create care packages for the National Guard 164th deployed to the Middle East Soldiers Angels Community Team Leader Tracie Johnson says there are a number of different events being held that will benefit another great cause Tracie Johnson Soldiers Angel s Spokesperson The festivities run until 8 00 tonight at the Orginal Bar on Broadway for the eighteen to twenty-year-old crowd And following that there will be live music inside You can also receive a discount on admission if you wear red in support of the troops
