Minot s newly established Energy Park hasn t seen much development just yet but one more oil company has announced it s arrival to the area and they recently held a job fair at Job Services of North Dakota to recruit new workers Pumpko Services is an oil field service company that s based in Texas but will be expanding its operations to Minot The company will be hiring 56 people from the local area to fill positions as operators mechanics and a variety of other areas of employment William O Neill is the District Manager for Pumpko Services and he says they re looking for people who want a career and not just another job William O Neill District Manager- Pumpko Services We are a local company we re not here for the short-term we re here for the long-term We re based out of Gainsville Texas we ve been in operation for twenty-three years and on the high-pressure pumping side of it for five years We re an up-and-coming growing company out there and we re looking for good quality people O Neill says starting pay with the company will range from ten to twenty-eight dollars an hour depending on the job and they have both salary and hourly positions available
